What you need to know about the online consultation

How does an online consultation work?
 
To support the consultation, we will use an encrypted video conferencing platform accessible to you fingertips: Whatsapp, Skype, Google Meet. The audio-video quality is very good and from experience the results are as good as a face-to-face consultation.
Each consultation begins with a history (an analysis of the history and details specific to the mother-child dyad) - these are recorded in a consultation sheet for future reference (GDPR compliance) and allow me to get an overview.
Positioning and attachment/latching will be demonstrated with the help of a baby mannequin and a silicone breast.
At the end of the consultation you will receive video and reading materials that will strengthen the understanding of the newly learned information.
I recommend that you prepare a list of questions in advance to make effective use of your available time.
We will follow the evolution together using videos that you will send me after the consultation to follow up and give you feedback.
The duration of the consultation is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. I recommend that you find a quiet place without interruptions where you can focus your attention. I encourage you to invite your partner to participate as well.
